Travertino Sant’Andrea, owing several quarries, offers many types of travertine: Diana, Etrusco, Moka, Oniciato, Oliva, as well as exclusive Scabas, available in blocks and slabs .
Each material has two different personalities, depending on how it is cut. If the cut is vertical, across the sedimentation layers, we say “vein cut” and you see the succession of sedimentation layers formed by thousands years of geological work. If the travertino is cut horizontally on the sedimental layer is called “cross cut” : in that case the travertine is more homogeneus because consis of a single layer of sedimentation.
The different colors and shapes offer the designer the ability to find always an answer to his architectural requirements.
